Black Hollywood has always been a force. The stories, the talent, the influence — it's all been there. But too often, that power goes uncovered, undersold, or flattened into a single angle. Hollywood Melanin exists to change that. We cover the full picture: the breakthroughs and the setbacks, the creative vision and the business reality, the culture that drives everything else.
We're editorial-first and independent. That means we report what matters to the community we serve — not what gets the most clicks, not what a PR department wants us to say. Just real coverage of the people and stories that matter.
