Christina Cooper To Direct and Co-produce “Trading Soles” Starring IG Sensation Shiggy and ‘Friday’s Faizon Love
Directed by South Central Love‘s Christina Cooper, Trading Soles follows the story of two high school students – the athlete James Caldwell (Shiggy) and Adam Finch (newcomer Joe Barra), one of the smartest students at Douglas High. A fight between the two lands them at the counselor’s office, where they gripe about each other’s lives and who has it easier. Their counselor, Ms. Cigam, who practices witchcraft, is set out to resolve the students’ disagreement by switching their bodies and having them walk a mile in each other’s shoes. In order to get things back to normal, Adam and James must first learn to truly appreciate the lives they had before the switch took place.
The feature is written and co-produced by Carlos Robins and Cooper. The cast also includes Friday’s Faizon Love.
The movie is currently in production and being filmed in Los Angeles. No release date has been announced.
