The debut feature of writer-director Channing Godfrey Peoples, starring Nicole Beharie (Jacob’s Ladder, Monsters and Men), Kendrick Sampson (Insecure) and Alexis Chikaeze with her acting debut, will drop on digital and on-demand this Friday (June 19), just in time for the 155th anniversary of the Juneteenth holiday.
