Disney+ is bringing back our beloved animated series The Proud Family with new episodes, which are currently in production.
The ‘all-new original series The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder‘ will continue to tell the story of Penny Proud and her family – parents Oscar and Trudy, twin siblings and grandma Suga Mama.
To our excitement, most of the original voice cast will reprise their roles – Kyla Pratt as Penny, Tommy Davidson as Oscar, Paula Jai Parker as Trudy, Jo Marie Payton as Suga Mama, Karen Malina White as Dijonay, Soleil Moon Frye as Zoe and Cedric the Entertainer as Uncle Bobby.
Bruce W. Smith and Ralph Farquhar, who worked on the original series (currently streaming on Disney+), will executive produce the reboot. The release date has not been set just yet.
