‘THEY’VE GOTTA HAVE US’ HIGHLIGHTS BLACK EXCELLENCE IN TELEVISION AND FILM
The trailer for Netflix’s new docuseries They’ve Gotta Have Us has been released and it looks glorious.
Created by artist and photographer Simon Frederick, the series features some of the greatest actors, directors and other creatives, including Debbie Allen, Barry Jenkins, John Boyega, Whoopi Goldberg, Laurence Fishburne, David Oyelowo, Diahann Carroll, Kasi Lemmons, Harry Belafonte, Robert Townsend, and the late John Singleton.
Distributed by Ava DuVernay‘s ARRAY, They’ve Gotta Have Us takes the viewers on a journey of exploring art, activism and race in- and through black cinema. The docuseries features in-depth interviews with some of the most prominent faces in Black Hollywood.
