Vertical Entertainment has released the first official trailer for American Skin, a new film written & directed by Nate Parker (The Birth of a Nation).
The cast includes Omari Hardwick, Theo Rossi, Beau Knapp, AnnaLynne McCord, and Parker himself.
American Skin follows an Iraq War veteran named Lincoln ‘Linc’ Jefferson (Parker) who decides to bring his 14-year-old son’s murder, a police officer, to justice by taking over a police station and holding a trial right there.
The film debuted at the Venice Film Festival in 2019. It will be released in 2021 on Martin Luther King Day. Watch the trailer above.
