Angry Birds 2 Teaser Trailer & Poster Released
The Angry Birds are back in this newly released teaser trailer and poster for The Angry Birds Movie 2.
The original animated film debuted at #1 in 50 countries around the globe back in 2016. This new teaser trailer introduces Zeta, a new character voiced by Leslie Jones (SNL, Ghostbusters) who teams up with the ruler of the Piggies, King Mudbeard (Bill Hader), to take revenge against the Angry Birds.
The returning voice cast includes Jason Sudeikis (Horrible Bosses) and Josh Gad (Beauty and The Beast) as Red and Chuck. The Thurop Van Orman-directed sequel also features several new recruits, including Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us), Lil Rel Howery (Birdbox), Zach Woods (Silicon Valley), Awkwafina (Crazy Rich Asians) and rapper Nicki Minaj.
The Angry Birds Movie 2 will hit theaters on Aug. 16. Check out the trailer and poster below.
