The Hollywood Walk of Fame will soon welcome its newest inductee – the legendary rock musician, singer, songwriter, and actor Lenny Kravitz. The ceremony, which will take place in front of the historic Capitol Records Tower, will see the unveiling of the 2,774th star on the iconic boulevard. Kravitz will receive his star in the category of Recording.
Born in New York City in 1964, Lenny Kravitz has made an indelible mark on the music world with his unique blend of rock, soul, and funk. Over the course of his illustrious career, he has released 11 studio albums and sold over 40 million records worldwide. His work has earned him numerous accolades, including four consecutive Grammy Awards for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance from 1999 to 2002.
The Hollywood Walk of Fame induction ceremony is expected to feature a host of celebrities, including fellow musicians, actors, and friends of Kravitz. Zoë Kravitz and Denzel Washington are scheduled to appear as guest speakers.
Lenny Kravitz was recently honored with the “Music Icon Award” at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards and was also nominated as a 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee. He was recently recognized by the CFDA with their “Fashion Icon Award” for his role as one of rock’s most esteemed musicians and a major fashion influence.
