Hulu’s newly released trailer for Little Fires Everywhere teases the new eight-episode miniseries based on the bestselling novel by Celeste Ng starring Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington.
Elena Richardson (Witherspoon) rents a house and hires Mia Warren (Washington) who is new in town, an artist and single mother to Pearl Warren (Lexi Underwood). The mystery around the new family is unsettling to Elena’s husband (played by Joshua Jackson) and others. The story explores the weight of secrets, the nature of art and identity, the ferocious pull of motherhood – and the danger in believing that following the rules can avert disaster.
Starring the series are also Rosemarie DeWitt, Jade Pettyjohn, Jordan Elsass, Gavin Lewis, and Megan Stott.
The series is produced by Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine, Washington’s Simpson Street, and ABC Signature Studios.
