New York native F. Gary Gray was honored with a star on Hollywood Blvd this Tuesday (May 28).
Gray, who made his directorial debut with Friday at age 26, has been killing the game for 20+ years now. His list of box office hits includes Straight Outta Compton, The Italian Job, Law Abiding Citizen, Set if Off, and The Fate of the Furious to name a few. His soon-to-be-released film Men In Black: International (June 14), starring Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth, is the fourth installment in the Men In Black franchise.

Actors Jamie Foxx and Vin Diesel spoke at the ceremony. Gray directed Foxx in Law Abiding Citizen (2009) and worked with Diesel on two projects – the vigilante action film A Man Apart (2003) and the eighth installment in The Fast and the Furious franchise – The Fate of the Furious (2017).

Blumhouse releases the first trailer for its upcoming thriller titled The Invisible Man.
Synopsis: trapped in a violent, controlling relationship with a wealthy and brilliant scientist, Cecilia Kass (Moss) escapes in the dead of night and disappears into hiding, aided by her sister (Harriet Dyer, NBC’s The InBetween), their childhood friend (Aldis Hodge, Straight Outta Compton) and his teenage daughter (Storm Reid, HBO’s Euphoria). But when Cecilia’s abusive ex (Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Netflix’s The Haunting of Hill House) commits suicide and leaves her a generous portion of his vast fortune, Cecilia suspects his death was a hoax. As a series of eerie coincidences turns lethal, threatening the lives of those she loves, Cecilia’s sanity begins to unravel as she desperately tries to prove that she is being hunted by someone nobody can see.
The Invisible Man is written, directed and executive produced by Leigh Whannell (Saw, Insidious) and produced by Kylie du Fresne (Upgrade, The Sapphires) for Goalpost Pictures.
The film is a co-production of Goalpost Pictures Australia and Blumhouse Productions, in association with Nervous Tick, for Universal Pictures and is set to premiere on February 28, 2020.

The trailer for STX's upcoming movie Hustlers starring Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu (Crazy Rich Asians), Julia Stiles (Riviera), Keke Palmer (Pimp), Lili Reinhart (Riverdale), and Cardi B. has been released!
Adapted from a 2015 New York magazine article The Hustlers at Scores, the film follows a group of strip club employees who join forces to con money from their Wall Street clients.
Lorene Scafaria (The Meddler) wrote and directed the film. STXfilms is producing alongside Lopez, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Benny Medina.
